Kavitha once again targeted BRS working president KTR with sharp criticism. She addressed the media at the Jagruthi office and questioned his remarks on the ZPTC polls.
Kavitha alleged that KTR asked people to vote blindly for anyone representing BRS. She said he urged voters to choose the car symbol regardless of the candidate’s quality. This, she felt, raised serious concerns.
Questioning his stand, Kavitha asked whether people were being asked to vote for bad candidates. She said KTR’s remarks reflected a totalitarian and authoritative mindset. According to her, voters must think independently.
Kavitha stressed that people should not vote based on caste or money. She urged voters to support candidates known for their commitment to public service. She added that good candidates must be chosen irrespective of party.
She announced that Jagruthi candidates would contest on the Forward Bloc symbol. Kavitha said this decision was taken to promote values-based politics. She emphasised ethical leadership.
Kavitha also made a surprising remark about Revanth Reddy and Harish Rao. She alleged that both were working in tandem. She said anyone summoned in the phone tapping case must attend the inquiry.
She noted that BRS chief KCR was also summoned in the case. However, that did not stop her from expressing her views publicly.
Kavitha further accused the Modi government of cheating Telangana in the Union Budget 2026-27. She claimed the state was completely ignored.
She also questioned why the Telangana government was failing to control law and order issues. Kavitha said the administration appeared lax in addressing public safety concerns.
