Jagruthi Party Will Win 2028: Kavitha

Kavitha speaks at press meet on Jagruthi Party

PCC President Mahesh Goud recently claimed in a press meet that Kavitha had offered to join the Congress Party, but he blocked her entry. Kavitha strongly denied the allegation and responded sharply, rejecting both the claim and the party.

Kavitha said there is nothing left in the Congress Party and described it as a losing force in Telangana. She stated that Congress has no chance of coming to power in the next elections and asserted that the Jagruthi Party will win in 2028.

Inviting Mahesh Goud to join her party, Kavitha said she would make him the National Convenor due to his experience. She stressed that Jagruthi Party is serious about politics and plans to directly engage with the people across the state.

Kavitha said her party will move forward with public support and divine blessings. She expressed confidence that Jagruthi Party will emerge as a strong political power and warned against attempts to damage her political image.

It is now clear that Kavitha plans to continue politics independently through her own party. However, uncertainty remains over when she will formally launch the party and begin contesting elections.

Political observers feel Kavitha may avoid elections until the Assembly polls in 2028. Contesting earlier and losing could weaken her influence, which may affect her standing by the time the crucial elections arrive.

By 2028, Kavitha is expected to build organisational strength and challenge her brother politically, similar to how Sharmila opposed Jagan in Andhra Pradesh in 2024. Though Sharmila lost, she still played a role in Jagan’s defeat.

In the same press meet, Kavitha once again targeted KTR and Harish Rao. She alleged that they respond only when personally attacked but remain silent on issues affecting the dignity and self-respect of women.

Kavitha expressed anguish over the lack of condemnation when reports insulting female IAS officers surfaced. She said this silence exposed the hollowness of the leadership and questioned their commitment to women’s dignity.

She asked why attacks on Maha News drew reactions, while NTV broadcasts allegedly demeaning women officers went uncondemned. Kavitha questioned whether political interests mattered more than respecting women officers.
