Drunk and drive tests should be conducted even at government events, said K T Rama Rao. The BRS working president launched a sharp attack on Revanth Reddy over the current law and order situation.
KTR alleged that while the Chief Minister is high on power, lower-level Congress goondas are creating nuisance across the state. He strongly condemned the attack on Palla Rajeswar Reddy in the presence of Seetakka on Friday.
Expressing his anger, KTR said Congress goondas attacking a BRS leader in front of a Minister reflects the poor state of law and order. He said such behaviour exposes the ground reality in Telangana.
KTR remarked that the situation has deteriorated to the extent that drunk and drive checks must be carried out at government ground-breaking ceremonies and official programmes.
He accused the CM of making instigating statements that are leading to such incidents. KTR said faction politics will not be tolerated by Bharat Rashtra Samithi or by the people born in Telangana.
He further stated that people of Telangana had already issued a warning during the panchayat elections. According to KTR, the public will put Congress in its place during the upcoming ZPTC polls.
