BRS chief KCR has summoned his party leaders for an important meeting at his farmhouse in Erravelli. All routes are now heading there as leaders of the pink party gather for discussions.
KTR and Harish Rao have already arrived, while other leaders are on the way. The meeting has been called to address significant political matters.
The main focus is the Jubilee Hills by-election. After the passing of Maganti Gopinath, the seat became vacant and BRS is determined to hold on to this crucial constituency.
Meanwhile, the ruling Telangana Congress is making strong efforts to capture the seat. In this scenario, BRS is working on a strategy to ensure victory. There is speculation that sympathy votes in the area may favour them, and the party is considering fielding late Gopinath’s wife as the candidate.
Discussions will also cover the upcoming Assembly sessions and the Kaleshwaram project report. KCR plans to talk about the Congress party’s repeated attacks on BRS and ways to respond effectively.
Recently, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy criticised the former BRS government for building the Kaleshwaram project, which collapsed despite a cost of Rs 1 lakh crore. This issue is expected to be discussed during the meeting on Independence Day.
Earlier, KCR conveyed his Independence Day greetings to the people of Telangana. He expressed pride in the formation of a separate Telangana and the progress made in the past decade.
