Telangana Rashtra Samiti which appeared like drifting away from MIM in the past couple of months now had a change of mind. Earlier it looked like TRS may be going on with BJP leaving MIM behind but the nexus some how did not progress on expected lines and TRS once again is trying to be back in MIM fold.
On Friday, attending a program in Old City, KCR heaped praises on MIM. He announced that his party will work with MIM for the progress of Telangana Muslims. “MIM made sure that Old City is not infiltrated by Andhra Rulers and save this region”, KCR said.
He went on to say if a Britisher like Arthur Cotton is great for Andhra People, Nizam should be equally great for Telangana people as well. This may be indication that TRS – BJP alliance is not possible in near future and the ruling party is likely to go with MIM in the upcoming GHMC elections.
