Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao led a 16 member delegation to visit several industrial cities in China and for participating in World Economic Forum meet. The 10 days tour is intended to attract 50000 Crore investments to the new state and funding for several infrastructural projects.

Accompanying the Chief Minister are Ministers J. Krishna Rao, G. Jagadish Reddy, Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudana Chary, Council Chairman K. Swamy Goud, CMO officials, MP K. Keshava Rao, Chief Whip K. Eshwar and others.
This is the first time the Speaker and Council Chairman are accompanying the Chief Minister in an official tour. This did not happen even in the united state. The delegation left to China from Shamshabad airport on a specially booked flight. Our readers are well aware that this special flight costing 2 Crore to the state exchequer sparked off a big controversy.
