KCR To Neutralize Osmania Threat?

Osmania University in the hotbed of Telangana Agitation. Students have constantly maintained the heat of the agitation on the state and central government and made sure that Telangana is granted. It is an open secret that students who completed their degree long ago and students who intentionally delayed getting their degrees to stay in the campus led the agitation from the front.

But then, the students did not find what they wanted with the KCR government and we often saw them taking to streets. Many times, the government managed to keep them at bay by controlling media coverage of the happenings in the University. But now, the Chief Minister seem to be focused on completely neutralizing the threat.

Upon the instructions of the government, the University officials with the help of the Police are vacating such students from the hostels. The water and Power connection to some of the hostel blocks including women’s hostel block were terminated. Notices were sent to such students to vacate the hostels.
