T’gana CM follows AP CM's mobile plan

Telangana mobile industry policyTelangana CM KCR seem to have realized the growing importance of mobile hardware industry in the pot of economy a little late. As much touted new industry policy of Telangana failed to attract either sizeable investments to the state or fetching good rank in world bank ratings. Now, KCR came up with a new industrial policy exclusive for mobile manufacturers.

The new policy envisages several benefits to the mobile phone makers including exemption of stamp duty and reduction of VAT etc. Surprisingly, these benefits already being covered in the Policy of AP government. This move came after the recent MOU of AP government with Micromax, Karbonn and Celkon mobile makers for setting up their plants in Sri city, chittor district.

We can understand that the Slew of measures taken by Chandra Babu Naidu in making State of Andhra Pradesh as hardware hub sending ripples to their counterparts. We hope these measures attract the mobile industry and put Telangana in the race even though a little late.
