KCR Wants BJP to Field ‘Weak’ Candidates

BJP President Amit Shah sat with the Party’s Main Leaders the other day and revealed the latest findings of his survey for Telangana. Amit Shah told them that the State is running towards a Hung Assembly and will be falling short of 15 seats for a Simple Majority. He instructed the leaders to work really hard and get 10-15 seats so as to enter into a Post-Poll alliance.

“If situations favour, we may even ask for the Chief Minister Post like how it happened in Karnataka. We should get 10-15 seats at any cost in the coming elections,” Amit Shah told the party leaders. These survey reports are very much in sync with the reports we are hearing from a few media sources in the last few weeks.

Survey Reports say Mahakutami is gaining ground and it is going to be a tough election. But then, things are not going to be easy for BJP as the party is clearly struggling. If elections are to be held today, most surveys are predicting the party will struggle even to win the five seats its won in 2014 with the help of TDP.

On the other side, Telangana Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao flew to Delhi. The party sources say it is for an eye and dental checkup but there were rumours that KCR is reaching out to the BJP high command asking them to field weak candidates in some Assembly Segments to facilitate TRS win. But then shrewd politicians – Modi and Shah, it is unlikely for them to agree to the proposal.
