Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be flying to Delhi tonight for a 6 days long tour to Delhi. This tour will have immense political significance as there are rumours doing rounds in political circles that KCR will lend friendship hand to Narendra Modi and join the Union cabinet.
The Prime Minister already refused appointment to KCR thrice but he will be meeting KCR on 8th after the Niti Ayog meeting. KCR is expected to put this proposal formally to the Prime Minister in the meeting. However it is said that the background work for the alliance is complete except for the Prime Minister’s nod.
If Modi gives his go ahead for the nexus, KCR may announce it in Delhi itself. TRS is also likely to get one cabinet at the Center if it turns out to be true. Political analysts say Center extending industrial incentives to Telangana along with AP is an indication of the ushering alliance. KCR will also lobby hard for funds and various projects pending in Telangana ahead of the Union Budget this month end.
