It is official that TDP will be contesting 151 seats while Janasena will be in the fray for the remaining 24 seats in the upcoming elections.
To begin with, TDP announced 94 candidates and Janasena announced five seats.
If we observe the first list of the TDP, the ‘One Family – One Ticket’ rule is strictly followed.
Following this, only one each from Kotla, Bhuma, KE, Paritala, and JC families got tickets.
Senior leader Ashok Gajapathiraju is not interested in contesting this time. His daughter Aditi is contesting from Vizianagaram.
Besides Chandrababu’s family, only the Kinjarapu family earned an exception with their performance and loyalty.
Along with Chandrababu, Lokesh and Balakrishna got tickets. Balakrishna’s SIL Bharat is likely to get the Vishakapatnam Parliament ticket. He may be accommodated in Assembly if BJP stresses to have Vizag MP seat.
In the Kinjarapu family, Atchennaidu is given the Tekkali seat. Ram Mohan Naidu will contest from the Srikakulam Parliament. His sister Adireddy Bhavani is Rajahmundry City MLA. Her husband Adireddy Vasu will be contesting from the seat and was announced the ticket.
Only Kinjarapu family is exempted from the ‘One Family – One Ticket’ rule along with Chandrababu’s family.
