Kiran Kumar Reddy, the last Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh is a political mystery.
Kiran, back then, misguided Andhra people of doing something at the last minute to stop bifurcation.
Later, he irked Telangana people by showing a piece of the Berlin Wall saying that AP and Telangana will be united like East and West Germany.
He floated Jai Samaikhyandhra Party for the 2014 elections and not even a single candidate got a deposit from the party. Later he went back to Congress and very recently joined BJP.
He joined the saffron party in Delhi and triggered speculations if he will be appointed as the party president for the AP BJP unit. He met Somu Veerraju in Delhi and later arrived at the AP BJP office. And the next day, he met Telangana BJP leaders.
But then, after that, he disappeared.
There were rumors that he would bring former Congress senior leaders and unhappy Reddy leaders of YSR Congress to BJP. But nothing of that sort happened.
He was not even part of the Committee appointed to file chargesheets against the YSR Congress Government.
Kiran’s group says he is currently busy with Karnataka Elections and will later focus on Telangana elections. He will shift focus on to AP politics very soon. But it sounds more like a joke!
