Popular YCP leader Kodali Nani got a big jolt from TDP ahead of the elections. The TDP leaders complained to the Returning Officer (RO) that Nani mentioned the wrong details in his nomination affidavit and requested to cancel his nomination.
Getting into details, Nani is contesting as YCP’s MLA candidate from the Gudivada constituency. Recently, he also filed his nomination. But, the local TDP leaders alleged that he gave wrong information in his affidavit.
In his affidavit, Nani stated that he didn’t use any government office. However, TDP leaders mentioned in their complaint that Nani used the local municipal office as his camp office.
Along with the complaint letter, they also attached the papers where government officers mentioned that the municipal office building was given for rent to Nani.
As they provided evidence to solidify the fact that Nani gave the wrong information in his affidavit, TDP leaders requested the RO to cancel his nomination.
Meanwhile, the RO is yet to respond to the complaint. There’s much anticipation surrounding the decision of the RO regarding this matter.
On the other side, Nani’s brother Kodali Chinni filed his nomination as a backup. If anything happens to Nani’s nomination, Chinni might be declared as the YCP candidate from Gudivada, revealed the reports.
