Senior Journalist Kommineni Srinivasa Rao has been arrested this morning in the case of abusing Amaravati women.
During a Debate, Kommineni was silently enjoying and was a mute spectator when Journalist Krishnam Raju insulted Amaravati.

Krishnam Raju said Amaravati is not the Capital of Gods as Chandrababu Naidu claimed, it is the Capital of Sex Workers.
Cases were registered against Krishnam Raju and Kommineni at various Police Stations.

YSR Congress and Blue Media are coming up with ways to defend Kommineni on this issue.
Their line of argument is – “How is the Host responsible for what a Guest says on his show? How does he control anything? It is a Live Show, and how can anyone stop it from going on air?”

First of all, there is no concept of Live in Telugu News Channels.
Even a Live Program has a little delay of 3-5 Minutes. The Editors have enough time to edit those portions, but Sakshi chose not to do that.
Those in the media clearly know that.

Coming to the matter that the Host will have no control over what a Guest says, Kommineni’s Reaction is at fault here.
A few days back, during a Phone-in Program, a couple of callers went really hard at Lakshmi Parvathi.
Kommineni, who was the Host, immediately cut the line and criticized those callers in a harsh tone.
When compared to that, this reaction is very mild.
He let the Journalist talk as much as he wanted. The Journalist repeated the ‘Capital of Sex Workers’ multiple times on his show because Kommineni did not intervene.
After completing everything, Kommineni simply said ‘Let’s not go into it’ as a formality.
It clearly indicates Kommineni gets offended only when there is an issue for YSR Congress, and he does not bother about the Sentiments of others.
Those who watched the clip will have a clear understanding of the incident.
Hence, YSR Congress’s defense in this issue looks so feeble.
