Konatala To Congress with Gajuwaka YCP MLA?

Konatala Ramakrishna, who once played a key role in the Congress party in the joint Visakha district and served as the Minister for Commercial Taxes during the Chief Ministership of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, is now becoming politically active again.

After the death of Rajasekhar Reddy, Konatala walked with Jagan. But he did not like his policies and left the party. He has not joined any party since then. Staying away from direct politics.

But for the past few days, he has again been negotiating with his followers on re-entry into politics. Apart from Uttarandhra, especially in Anakapalli and Visakha districts, there are many of his disciples.

YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s daughter Sharmila is going to join Congress. There are reports that she will take charge of the state party.

In this background, KVP Ramachandra Rao is negotiating with all the old Congress leaders on her behalf.

Konatala Ramakrishna is also close to KVP. It is being spread that KVP has invited him to join Congress and Kontala has accepted it.

The YCP leadership has made it very clear to Gajuwaka’s current MLA Tippala Nagireddy that they will not be given a chance to contest the next election.

His son Devan Reddy has prepared a plan to contest in the next election if the party gives him a chance. He was ready to resign from the party when the leadership said that he would not give the ticket.

This family has a long experience with the Congress party in the past. Tippala’s brother Gurumurthy Reddy was elected MLA from that party. All of them are disciples of Konatas.

Now it is known that Nagireddy’s family is interested in joining the party if they are given an opportunity to contest from Gajuwaka in the background of the campaign that Sharmila will lead the Congress party in the state.
