Former Minister KT Rama Rao’s brother-in-law Rajendra Prasad Pakala sent legal notices to 16 media houses that allegedly defamed him.
Various media houses named Rajendra Prasad Pakala as the main man behind the recent drug racket that was busted at a five-star hotel in Hyderabad.

He filed a defamation suit against all those 16 channels. He demanded Rs. 10 crores from each channel, as a part of his defamation suit, making the total amount of Rs. 160 crores.
He alleged that these news channels tried to damage his reputation by naming him in the drug bust case without any evidence.
The Hyderabad police arrested a few political and film-based individuals in this drug bust case last month.
