
In a fresh development, Telangana ACB has issued summons to Greenko Managing Director Anil Kumar Chalamalasetty.
Till now, the ACB had grilled BRS working president KTR, Arvind Kumar and B.L.N Reddy. All focus was on the three and they gathered key information from them.

Now, the ACB has asked Greenko MD to appear before the court before January 18, 2025. As is known, Greenko was the primary sponsor in Formula E-Racing case in Hyderabad, though it later withdrew. It ran the show through its subsidiary for the Season 9 of the racing event.
The ACB had already conducted raids in three offices of Greenko earlier after KTR was questioned. The raids were conducted in Madhapur in Hyderabad and Vijayawada and Machilipatnam in AP.

For now, the ACB has alleged misuse of funds by IAS Arvind Kumar and HMDA chief engineer. They have charged KTR of issuing verbal order for transfer of funds without taking cabinet approval.
In the process, during raids on Greenko, the ACB found that Greenko took the money from realtor Ace Urban Developers for building the infrastructure for E-Race.

The main accusation against Greenko is its involvement in contributing to BRS an amount of Rs 41 crore in the form of electoral bonds prior to the E-Race.
