The political atmosphere in Telangana is rather cool now. The new Congress government is working on settling in while BRS troops are occupied with the health condition of KCR who is recovering at the hospital after the hip surgery.
Finally today, KTR has launched his first notable attack on the Congress government in a meeting with BRS MLAs.
“The real game starts now. Let us see how this Congress will fulfill the wild promises they made in order to come to power. They didn’t even calculate the fiscal burden while making false promises. They are repeating the same tuned that the previous government left the state in a financial mess. This is a ploy to escape their promises” KTR said.
KTR added that the BRS government used to release white paper on state finances every year and even gave PAC and CAG reports every financial year. He was of the opinion that the Congress government cant fulfil its promises.
KTR now has the task of facing Congress and Revanth Reddy in the assembly as this is his first time in the opposition ranks since the formation of the Telangana assembly. His method of operation henceforth is going to be interesting to watch.
