A couple of days back former minister and BRS leader Harish Rao also appeared before the SIT. The authorities have issued strict guidelines asking those involved not to contact witnesses or try to influence the case.

The SIT is now considering calling Harish Rao again for further questioning. The inquiry in this case began on March 10, 2024 and charge sheets have already been filed against the main accused.

Even though the case has not moved fast the SIT is continuing with a detailed probe. Officials are said to be focusing on gathering more evidence related to the alleged phone tapping.

The accused former officials and BRS leaders have claimed that they are innocent. They have maintained that the entire case is driven by political vengeance rather than facts.
