Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao is aggressively campaigning for his party ahead of the Assembly elections on November 30th. Along with the regular on-ground campaign, KTR is also giving interviews to all TV Channels to reach out to the voters.
In an interview with TV5, KTR tried to explain that he has no animosity towards AP or TDP and the actual intention behind barring protests in Hyderabad (against Chandrababu’s arrest) is to ensure that it does not become a battleground of TDP and YSR Congress.
“In fact when I attended an IT company inauguration in Warangal, I asked the management to consider starting a branch in Andhra Pradesh as well. India will move forward only when all the states collaborate,” KTR said.
TV5 Murthy mentioned how Amara Raja moved its investments from Andhra Pradesh to Telangana unable to withstand the Government’s harassment.
“If I leave, he will go to Bengaluru or Chennai. If someone does not want to live in Andhra, Telangana is the natural first attraction. Jayadev is a Telugu man. He has a house here. His wife and children reside here. Naturally, Telangana is the first attraction. How many Andhra politicians are still residing in Hyderabad?,” KTR said.
“If some investor has problems in Andhra Pradesh, what is wrong if I get them to Hyderabad instead of leaving them to some other state? It is wrong if I grab the industry coming to AP,” the Minister added.
With this statement, KTR confirmed how Jagan Mohan Reddy drove Amara Raja out of Andhra Pradesh just because Jayadev is a TDP MP.
Amara Raja’s first choice for any new investment is always Andhra Pradesh but they have shifted their 9,500 Crore Amara Raja Giga Corridor to Telangana.
Minister K Taraka Ramarao broke the ground for this project in May this year near Divitipalli, Mahabubnagar district.
The unit is expected to generate employment opportunities for 4,500 persons and will be India’s largest-ever lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility to date.
4,500 jobs mean 4,500 families securing their future. But all that is gone because someone is so determined to hit the financial support of the Opposition.
