The BRS working president KTR was stopped from going to UoH as police were stationed at his house to prevent him from leaving house.
An obviously enraged KTR took to X to express his ire. He wrote reminding that Rahul Gandhi had come to HCU, not once but twice in a month at the time of Rohit Vemula’s death.
KTR went on to write that Rahul Gandhi was provided all protection and security. He had protested along with the students seeking justice for Rohit Vemula.
But KTR rued now that the Congress government was in power in the state, they refuse to allow us anywhere near the University of Hyderabad and deploy police to prevent us.
Why this hypocrisy Rahulji? What is your government trying to hide from the world?
It is known that the students of HCU and people from various walks of life are protesting against the clearing of 400 acres of land in Kacha Gachibowli. The protestors are worried about the felling of trees and centuries-old natural rock formations, not to forget harming the animals in the area.
