KTR Padayatra

Is it sentiment and/ or a political strategy? Whatever it is, BRS working president KTR has announced that he will be taking up padayatra in the state next year.

There is one sentiment regarding those going to jail becoming chief ministers. There is another sentiment regarding political gains following a padayatra.

And KTR’s agenda is clear. He wants to bring back BRS to power in Telangana. He said he and his party are chalking out the nitty-gritty of his padayatra.

As of now, he is touring the districts to strengthen BRS. This programme will continue till December, post which KTR will go into people.

The talk on the ground is that people are once again tilting towards BRS and KCR and the BRS party is only too keen to make use of this sentiment.

The general elections were held in May, 2024, in Telangana when BRS lost to the Congress. The BRS leaders are trying their best to keep the people engaged with their party to gain during the 2029 elections.

While a padayatra in 2026 will be early if one looks at the next elections, KTR might have his reasons to announce one.
