His body was later moved to the Gandhi mortuary. The incident took place while KTR was touring Jeedimetla in the Qutbullapur area. The sudden loss has shocked the electronic media journalist community in the city.

Damodar was dedicated to his work, and fellow cameramen are mourning his unexpected death. They said it is a reminder for all colleagues to prioritise health concerns, even minor ones, before they turn serious.
