BRS working president KTR received relief from the Telangana High Court on Tuesday, as the court struck down three police cases filed against him in Nalgonda district.
The cases were related to a tweet KTR posted in March 2025, where he commented on the Class 10 question paper leak. His tweet reportedly mentioned names of certain Congress leaders, accusing them of involvement.
Following this, Congress leaders filed complaints at three different police stations, alleging that KTR had spread false information on social media. They also objected to being named without any evidence.
The police registered cases based on these complaints. In response, KTR approached the Telangana High Court and filed petitions seeking dismissal of all three FIRs.
During the hearing, KTR’s legal team argued that the cases were politically motivated and filed out of vendetta. After hearing arguments from both sides, the High Court ruled in KTR’s favour and dismissed the cases.
This verdict has come as a legal win for KTR amidst ongoing political tensions in the state.
