BRS working president KTR has addressed a controversy involving groups allegedly operating in his name. The leader took to X to issue a public clarification after reports of fraudulent activities surfaced.
Political leaders and film stars often have fan groups that claim to carry out social work. However, when such groups are not officially affiliated or endorsed, problems can arise. In some cases, these organisations are accused of misleading the public.
According to KTR, certain groups have come to his notice for questionable activities. Among them are KTR Seva Samiti and KTR Sena. He also stated that some commercial entities were reportedly using his name without authorisation.
In his message on X, KTR warned supporters not to trust or engage with such groups. He made it clear that any individual or organisation claiming to represent him must be officially connected to the BRS party structure.
KTR further said that those who genuinely respect him or KCR should work only through the BRS party organisation. He urged people to either join BRS or stay away from dubious entities operating independently.
He also encouraged citizens to report any suspicious groups to the party. The clarification aims to prevent misuse of his name and protect supporters from potential fraud.
