BRS working president KTR took to X to give his advice to Youth Congress members. Of course, differing viewpoints happen between parties and demonstrations happen at conferences in other countries too. PETA is one organisation where people protest during big-time fashion events.
But the Youth Congress protestors holding placards and raising slogans has embarrassed the entire country. It was a pet project of Prime Minister Modi and many key players in the AI industry were attending the event.
KTR expressed his views saying that there is a time and reason for everything. He felt there are better ways to protest and show their point of view.
Such demonstrations simply kill the impact of an event and Congress successfully created a black mark, KTR went on to say. Ironically, the protest happened when Telangana CM and Congress leader was giving his speech.
The AI Impact Summit was India’s big attempt at leaving a mark in the tech industry by showcasing itself as the provider of services and technology and not as a mere receiver.
In recent times, Congress has been protesting every development leaving many wondering if it’s playing the role of a responsible opposition or a mere trouble-maker.
It is absolutely deplorable that members of the Youth Congress chose the AI Impact Summit 2026 as a venue for petty political theatrics
Using such a global platform for protests will project our great nation India in a poor light internationally
