Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu started works worth Rs 1292.74 Crore in Kuppam on Wednesday. He said they will supply free electricity for the pumpsets of farmers.
While touring in Chittoor, Babu said that they will fix solar panels on all houses in Kuppam so that people wouldn’t have to pay electricity bills.

Later, Babu spoke at Praja Vedika organized at Timmisi. He said that Kuppam is on the threshold of great change. Kuppam will be developed into Rayalaseema’s horticultural hub, said Chandrababu.
Welfare and development must go hand in hand, the CM said. After creating wealth, welfare activities must be taken up, he said.

Kuppam people have blessed me as MLA 9 times. Past government destroyed the state. We promised to lay roads, we delivered. We have started works with Rs 1292.74 crore, shared Babu.
We spent Rs 3829 crore on Handri-Neeva project to bring water to the region. We will make sure Kuppam will develop into a constituency supplying 10 lakh litres of milk, Babu went on to say.

Under PM Suryaghar scheme, we will provide Rs 98,000 discount to BCs to generate 3 mega watts of electricity. Kuppam will soon have an airport.
A parallel road to Kuppam-Hosuru road will be laid. The constituency is about to get a lot of companies, disclosed CM Chandrababu.
