Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Raja Gopal today sprayed Pepper spray on Members of Lok Sabha as Telangana Bill was tabled. Members started running out of the house in fear. Telangana MPs tried to manhandle Lagadapati. As MPs ran out of the house and some of them are shifted to hospital in ambulances, Lagadapati reportedly drank the left over pepper spray and immediately fell down unconscious.
Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the house and asked the MPs to leave the house immediately. Speaker had ordered to close down the live telecast of the proceedings of the house to not to let people know what happened inside the house. The security arrangements of the Parliament have come under scanner following this disarray in the house.
