Lagadapati should be hanged says T-MPs

The recent untoward incidents in the Lok Sabha earlier in the day had attracted the attention of the entire nation. The entire Telangana issue is now sidetracked and everyone are condemning Lagadapati’s act in the Parliament. Some Telangana leaders are demanding that Lagadapati’s action should be equated to the terrorist attack on Parliament and he should be hanged just like Afzal Guru.

However, it should be noted that the common law and order rules governing the country do not apply to the Parliament. Speaker has the sole power to take any action for incidents inside the house. Political analysts say speaker Meira Kumar may go on suspending all the Seema Andhra MPs and resume the proceedings of the house. Some of the MPs are demanding that Lagadapati Raja Gopal should be banned from contesting any election.
