
Hafiz Saeed, the chief of the controversial Lashkar-e-Taiba is enjoying special security in Pakistan. He is wanted by India and is on the hit list for a long time.
Following the Pahalgam attack during which 26 tourists were killed, Hafiz Saeed made inflammatory statements about the cancellation of Indus Water Treaty and Prime Minister Modi.

Though Pakistan denies its army’s role in protecting wanted terrorists in India, it is now protecting Hafiz Saeed who is living right in the heart of Lahore city.
He is said to be residing in house number 116-E in Mohalla Johar Town in the heart of Lahore, which is a residential area. The Pakistan army has increased his security four-fold and there are drones surveillaing the area constantly. Apart from them, Lashkar-e-Taiba is also providing protective shield to the terrorist mastermind.

Roads within a radius of 4km are full of CCTV cameras to monitor any movement. Hafiz Saeed’s family and relatives have been told by Pakistan army not to go into public and they also have the security cover of Pak Army and ISI, according to India Today.
