The AP CID has filed a new case – AP liquor brands permissions, against Chandrababu Naidu in a hurried manner. This case was filed a day before CBN was granted medical bail in the skill case.
Now, Chandrababu has moved the high court in this matter as he has filed for an anticipatory bail in the liquor case.
Naidu’s legal team filed for anticipatory bail in the case today and an emergency motion to this effect was moved a short while ago. The high court took the case and it is likely to come to hearing later in the day today.
The CID hurriedly pushed the case yesterday, 30 October and named Chandrababu as the A3 in the same.
The nature of the case filing and the circumstances leading to the same have already given an overwhelming hint that this is nothing but a political move from the Jagan government which is doing all it can to keep Naidu behind bars.
As for Naidu, he is to be released from jail later today and he will then go to Tirumala temple for Darshan, post which he will be flying to Hyderabad for medical treatment.
