Man drags Vaastu firm to Court

Mahadev Dudhilal, a man in Karnataka approached a Vaastu consultation firm, ‘Sarala Vastu’ which is run by Chandrashekar Guruji after facing financial and domestic issues since 2007. Seeing the ads of the firm on TV where some people were claiming how they were benefited after constructing/renovating their houses as per Vaastu, Man approached them.

The Guruji directed him some architectural changes to his house. He claims to have spent Rs 11,600 on consultation fees and also spent Rs 4.5 lakh to renovate the house, after promising a change in life in the next 3-8 months. However nothing changed even after an year of making those changes.

The man approached the District Consumer Forum over this. The Consumer Forum has ordered issuance of notice to the Vaastu consultation firm. Mahadev also claimed that he received no response from the firm despite contacting them repeatedly. It is interesting to see what the judgement of this case will be!
