Mahakutami Gaining Force in Andhra Pradesh?

Telugu Desam Party has got this concept of Mahakutami way back in 2009 to rein YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Despite TDP, TRS and Communists joining forces, YSR sailed through the elections safely. But then the concept of Mahakutami worked in some other states in the recent times.

But then, the Mahakutami is coming back to haunt Telugu Desam Party if at all the recent political happenings are to be considered. The other day, Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in a meeting arranged by Communist Parties in Bandar.

And at the same time, CPI State Secretary Ramakrishna and MLC Chandrasekhara Rao met Jana Sena President, Pawan Kalyan. They reportedly discussed the ongoing political happenings in the state, most particularly the events that unfolded after Demonetization.

Do these meetings indicate the emerging of Mahakutami in AP Politics? If they join forces, can they dethrone Chandrababu Naidu? Or will Naidu do another feat like YSR? Mahakutami concept works very well on paper especially in closely contested elections but then things will not be as easy and that was evident in 2009 elections.
