The TDP Mahanadu preparations are going on in full swing near Kadapa. The two-day event will happen near Pabbapuram village in Kamalapuram constituency. Hence, the preparations are on at the venue.
Till now, 100 acres of land has been razed to prepare the venue. Another 300 acres are being readied for parking facilities during the event. Efforts are on to make Mahanadu a mega event.
Mahanadu will be held between May 27 and 29. Already a lot of material necessary for the event has reached the venue. The TDP politburo members will be meeting on Wednesday at Mangalagiri TDP office to review the progress and check the work of organising committees that are involved in preparations.
The TDP is holding Mahanadu in YSR Kadapa for the first time. It is seen as a step to strengthen the party base in Rayalaseema. TDP wants to showcase its organisational skills on a grand scale.
About 25,000 leaders are expected to attend the event from AP, Telangana and neighbouring states. Though various areas were considered, Pabbapuram was finalised due to its connectivity with Kadapa, Tirupati, Chittoor, Anantapur and Hyderabad.
