
The current state of affairs in YSRCP have become a mystery to those remaining in the party. The party’s leaders have already chosen different paths following 2024 Assembly elections.
While YSRCP was relegated to 11 seats, the alliance swept the polls with a huge majority. Sensing the end of their growth in YSRCP, many senior leaders left the party.

Now, comes the interesting part. The remaining few are being sent out by YSRCP chief Jagan himself. Already, ex MLAs, MPs and new Rajya Sabha MPs have quit the fan party.
So the party is suffering from a lack of abled leaders at the ground level. During such times, any party chief would try to consolidate his party by giving clear-cut positions to older members and bring in fresh faces for rejuvenation.

But the twist in YSRCP is that Jagan is now trying to get rid of some leaders from the party. In the forefront is Roja. She lost badly from Nagari constituency and is disliked by everyone from the panchayat level to the mandal level.
It is said Jagan is keen on getting Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu’s second son Gali Jagadish into the party. Rumours are rife in YSRCP that he will join the party on February 12.

This is being done to show the door to Roja, say many within the party.
Will Jagan’s strategy work? Will the fan party hold its stake as the opposition party with Jagan’s decisions? Those still with the party are highly confused.
