Telangana IT Minister and son of Chief Minister KCR, K Taraka Rama Rao lambasted media on the the ongoing Hyderabad Metro controversy. The minister revealed that government did not know about any letter written by L&T regarding pulling out of the project and he alleged that it is the conspiracy of the media to belittle TRS’ magnificent win in Medak. He also assured the people that government is working on various issues of the Metro Rail regarding the realignment etc and the CM will respond on it at the right time.
He described the media reporting of the Metro Rail Project as the conspiracy of few individuals and media houses to peg back the growth of Telangana state and Hyderabad city since its formation. NVS Reddy, MD of Hyderabad Metro gave a statement, “There are no breaks in Metro works, the project will complete in the stipulated time. The letters circulating in media are commonly exchanged so as to solve various issues. They need not be taken serious.” Immediately after giving this statement Mr.Reddy sat for a meeting with the Chief Minister indicating the seriousness of the issue.
