However Naidu’s trip was cancelled in the last minute as Union External Affairs Ministry refused permission for the tour. Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Lee Kuan Yew’s mortal remains on the same day, External Affairs Ministry refused permission for Naidu.
