Modi Government Not Only Cheating AP but Also the Nation

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his reply to short duration discussion on Special Status to Andhra Pradesh went on to say that 14th Finance Commission refused Special Status to the state. He went on to say that government or the opposition should not oppose any constitution bodies reports.

But then, Modi government seem to be lying about the issue. The central government always claims that it has increased the share of states from Central income to 42% like never before in the past. But the fact is the center had only given 29.46% share to states in 2015-16 and is planning to give only 29.19% for 2016-17.

These are figures are revealed by numbers of Finance Ministry itself. Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Arjun Ram Meghwal revealed this with numbers for a question asked in Lok Sabha. Looks like Modi government is not only Andhra Pradesh but also the entire the nation with that 42% share to states.
