YSR Congress Social Media is still not relenting on the #BoycottLaila issue. The other day, Hero Vishwak Sen and Producer Sahu Garapati called for a Pressmeet and apologized for the comments by 30 Years Industry Prudhvi.
Even then, they are not giving up and are threatening to boycott.
This seems to be a plan to keep the social media teams active.
YSR Congress Social Media teams are in deep slumber after the election defeat. Many are demoralized and many have become silent fearing cases.
The party had stopped the Paid Campaigns demotivating some people.
Only a few people who naturally work for the party are active and the party seems to be using the #BoycottLaila campaign to keep them motivated.
The best part of that campaign is that Vishwak Sen is an upcoming actor and does not have a loyal fanbase to retaliate against this threat.
Even though 30 Years Industry Prudhvi calls himself a Janasena supporter, the party cadres would not own him.
After quitting YSR Congress, Prudhvi is trying hard to Janasena but no one is caring for him due to his dubious past and sexual abuse allegations.
So there is no retaliation or resistance. YSRCP Social Media teams can simply abuse and threaten Vishwak Sen or Laila and derive pleasure without any opposition.
They do not do the same to the films of stars like NTR, Pawan Kalyan, and others because the fans would give back hard.
Even when Pawan Kalyan opposed YSR Congress tooth and nail, there were no boycott calls.
So to derive pleasure and satisfy the ego, they are extending Laila’s issue even though they apologized.
This is one way of keeping the party’s social media active.
Going by the history, Boycott calls barely had any impact. The opening of Laila big or small is already decided by the trailer and the promotions. This will not have any impact.
This is just noise on social media. In fact, Laila would get some promotion. More people would at least know about the movie and its release date (February 14th), this way.
