Why So Much Eagerness to Pin Naidu?

Some of the media houses since the other day are extensively publishing a news that Chandrababu Naidu has assets worth about 135 Crore and with that is the richest Chief Minister in the country. This is contrary to Naidu’s claims and the assets value he release every year and so this report by a Private agency, The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) came in handy for them.

In the eagerness to pin Naidu, the media houses did not even do their homework well. All the date obtained by ADR is extracted from the affidavits filed by candidates participating in the elections. It is a layman’s guess that there can not be a difference between Naidu’s affidavit and his usual announcement of assets.

The media houses ignored that. Further, the 135 Crore assets of Naidu is not his own as claimed by the media houses. It includes the assets of his spouse and other dependents. Naidu always maintained it straight regarding his spouse, Bhuvaneshwari’s assets which include shares in Heritage. Hence that 135 Crore.
