Former PCC President Botsa Satya Narayana is all set to join YSR Congress on 9th June. Botsa held talks with YSRCP leaders on Friday and got his confirmation. Botsa will be fielded as MLC in Local Body elections and will be made Leader of Opposition in Council.

Botsa entry will boost confidence in YSR Congress particularly in Uttarandhra. He is expected to join the party with a huge public meeting. Interestingly, Botsa went to Danam Nagendra’s house on Friday to convince him not to leave Congress but he himself is skipping the party.
It is known that Congress fielded Botsa Satyanarayana from Cheepurupalli Assembly segment in Vizianagaram and his wife Botsa Jhansi contested from the Vizianagaram LS seat, they had lost both the seats due to the anti-congress wave in the state due to the state bifurcation. However it is said that they see no future for Congress going further in the state and wants to join YSRCP now.
