Prasad Goud, the husband of the sarpanch of Kalleda village, plotted the murder at his residence in Banjarahills Road No-12 Vemuri Enclave.
The MLA’s staff informed the police as a person is spotted walking suspiciously with weapons at Jeevan Reddy’s house.
Banjara Hills Task Force Police reached there and detained Prasad Goud and interrogated him. The police seized a knife and a gun from him.
It is reported that Prasad Goud has taken a stand against the MLA regarding the suspension of his wife from the post of Sarpanch.
The alertness of the MLA’s staff avoided the murder.
Police are questioning Prasad Goud on this issue. Jeevan Reddy’s followers and TRS supporters are reaching the MLA’s residence to offer their support.
