The Election Commission of India had released the schedule to fill ten vacant MLC seats (Five in AP and Five in Telangana). The polling if necessary will happen on 20th March and the counting is scheduled to happen on the same day.
These are MLAs Quota MLC Seats and so, the TDP and its allies will bag all the five seats.

This elections are necessitated due to the retirement of members – Janga Krishna Murthy, Duvvarapu Rama Rao, Parchuri Ashok Babu, B Tirumala Naidu, and Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.
Reports are that TDP will get four and Janasena will get one from these seats.

Nagababu is likely to get the seat and maybe inducted into the State Cabinet.
Chandrababu Naidu announced a Cabinet Berth for Nagababu more than two months ago and the announcement received severe flak from the TDP Cadre.

Nagababu was earlier very critical of TDP and Nandamuri Balakrishna.
Nagababu‘s announcement also already evoked the criticism of Nepotism and Caste Imbalance in Janasena. Many leaders in TDP despite having eligibility were denied cabinet berths just because of caste equations.
But Chandrababu keeping everything away for Nagababu invoked criticism.
But then, in the hind sight, Chandrababu took a right decision.
Pawan Kalyan wanted an MLC berth for Balineni Srinivas Reddy and wants to induct him into the cabinet to strengthen Janasena in Prakasam district.
That would have been a blunder if happened.
Balineni joining Janasena is already creating problems in the district. The TDP leadership in the district fought with Balineni for years together and faced a lot of harassment during Congress and YSR Congress Governments.
In the Ongole constituency, it is a direct issue for Damacharla Janardhan. Balineni also harassed Janasena local leadership when Jagan was the Chief Minister.
Making him a Minister will send wrong signals in the districts and will also create unnecessary issues due to multiple power centers.
Moreover, it is widely believed that Balineni is just taking shelter in Janasena for the time being. He does not want to take the risk of being in the Opposition in a Hostile Government. Many even in the Janasena believe he will desert the party and go back to the YSR Congress.
If this happens, it will not only ruin Janasena but also the TDP in the district.
It may be reminded to our readers that US federal prosecutors charged Gautam Adani and seven others in the United States regarding a multibillion-dollar bribery and fraud scheme. The US authorities allege that the group allegedly bribed Indian officials for securing solar energy contracts.
The indictment statement specially mentions bribing 1,750 Crore Rupees to the high-ranked officials of the Andhra Pradesh Government in 2021.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in the dock for these bribes.
Balineni Srinivasa Reddy was the Power Minister during the said period. It will be a very bad signal to everyone if Balineni is inducted into the cabinet.
Picking Nagababu is a better choice than Balineni in the long term.
