Naidu amends the only mistake in his regime

The nearly two years ruling of TDP in Andhra Pradesh is mostly clean except for some tiny issues. If there is some bad remark on the government in this time, it is only the faulty Sand policy which gave rise to Sand Mafia and increase in the cost of sand by multiple folds in open market.

Chandrababu Naidu realized the mistake and is coming up with a new policy now. The government had decided to auction the sand ramps. Only those agreed to sell sand at 550 Rupees per cubic meter are allowed to participate in this auction. They will be given the ownership of ramps for an year.

Previously, these sand ramps were allotted to Dwacra women groups hoping that it will help them financially. But the policy gave rise to corruption as proxies resorted to sand mafia in the name of Dwacra women. Good that Naidu amended the policy to avoid damage!
