Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is creating a stir in the neighboring states with his attempts to woo investors to the truncated state. Naidu is always on wheels tapping new opportunities and his speed prompted neighboring CMs to respond accordingly.
Government of Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat have intensified their efforts to woo investments which were like never before in the last decade. Most of the governments are in a rush that they may lose the race with Naidu if they do not increase the pace.
They are primarily targeting over 35 pharma industries in Hyderabad offering investment incentives. Karnataka is in talks with them while the Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh government too have extended invitations. The pharma industries are reportedly getting never heard of concessions from these government to shift to their respective states.
