If the buzz in the media is to be believed, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is planning to go for a cabinet reshuffle very soon. It is said that Naidu is not satisfied with the performance of some of the ministers even after several months in office and so is planning some subtractions from the current group. Despite many warnings the non performing ministers did not mend their ways.
According to the media reports, Mrunalini, Nimmakayala Chinnrajappa, Peethala Sujatha, Ravella Kishore Babu, Palle Raghunadha Reddy are in danger zone. Kala Venkatrao, Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy or Anitha, Modugula Venugopal Reddy and Kalva Srinivasulu are in the front line for cabinet berths.
This will be Naidu’s first cabinet reshuffle after taking oath. The Chief Minister is treading cautiously as SCs and STs are in the non-performing ministers lists. The reshuffle will again have to satisfy the social equations.
