Andhra Pradesh Government is exploring the possibilities of selling DWACRA produces and services on popular social networking site, Facebook. Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu the other day explained Facebook South Asia director Ankhi Das about the various activities of DWACRA women and the products they produce at very low cost and high innovation. He requested to explore the possibilities of marketing and selling those products.
Ankhi Das reacted very positively to the proposal and sought one week time to come out with an action plan. If at this proposal materializes, it will pave way for rural innovation and women empowerment and global exposure to their talent on the social networking sites. Ankhi Das also offered to gauge the feedback of various departments of the government and give a detailed report on various programs implemented. She requested the Chief Minister to bring all the departments and ministers of the government on to facebook.
