Naidu steps in to draw funds from center!

ap-cm-chandra-babuAndhra Pradesh government has tried all possible ways of pressure on the Union government through various forms like letters, visits of state ministers etc. But after all those efforts failed, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu himself is intervening.

Naidu will be flying to Delhi on 15th of this month and will be personally meeting all the Central ministers with the list of demands for the truncated state. A meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on cards in this visit.

This visit of the CM gains prominence as the Center gears up to prepare the budget for the next financial year. Naidu’s meeting with Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley will prove crucial from the state point of view. The prime two demands include – funds for the construction of capital and the other fill the present financial year’s Budget deficit of Rs 15,600 crore. The center did not even give a single rupee to the state despite tall promises in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.
