If the official latest reports are any thing to go by, AP Chief Minister asked his officials to work on land requirements for Disneyland. It is known that in the past, undivided Andhra Pradesh had the similar request from Disneyland but talks ended with out any development back then.
Disneyland reportedly sought 2,000 acres to come up with a project on the lines of Paris in Andhra Pradesh. If the state government can provide them the land they are looking for, AP could become home for India’s first Disneyland.
As per reports, Naidu is actively working on major changes to the current tourism policy to match the requirements of biggies like Disney. Naidu is keen on getting the revenue from taxes but the current policy aimed at direct revenue like rentals. Naidu’s mark new policy will be will come in effect by this year end. Let’s see if Naidu will crack this huge deal after Hero MotoCorp.
