Andhra Pradesh government had decided to felicitate the people who fought for Samayikya Andhra cause on June 2nd. The government had planned several programs on that day to remember people about the injustice meted to the state.

Government had instructed officials to arrange special meetings in every residential area of the state and explain the crisis. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will address the state on 11 AM that day and that speech will be screened live every where using special projectors.
Every one in the state will administer the oath of Nava Nirmana Deeksha in which the person will pledge his committment and cooperation for the rebuilding of the new state. It is known that the state government had decided to celebrate June 2nd as Nava Nirmana Deeksha day instead of the state formation day which was opposed by many.
